EviDanceland

EviDanceland is the visual part of ‘Danceland’ , a performative work where a sex crime is turned into a fairy tale. These photographs are displayed in dark room and after the audience has finished listening to the story they can explore these images and other objects displayed with candle light. It are pieces of evidence, puzzle pieces, pieces of memories, pieces of truth that bring the participating audience back to reality after a wonderful magical story. These images were created by using objects, materials, substances and a scanner. The idea rose further from the concept of ‘YES SHOES CAN!’, a series of scanned heeled shoes from the men’s collection, worn, loved, but also hated, sexualized, fetishized.
